​Alex (he/him) began his writing career in the glamorous world of Canadian provincial politics. Working as a content creator and speechwriter for a government agency, Alex gained a valuable life lesson: you can write for a living! It was then that he chose to go back to school to study creative writing.

A writer of all things genre (science fiction, fantasy, horror, flowpunk, etc.), Alex has a love for detailed world building, and storytelling that reflects his own development into a queer, non-binary artist.
